2021-2022 REFLECTIONS PARTICIPANTS

SBISD Council of PTAs is very excited to announce the following District results for the 2021-2022 Reflections program.

Congratulations to Valley Oaks student, Kate Amacker, who will be representing Spring Branch ISD at the State level.

This year, 378 students participated in the Reflections program, representing 18 Spring Branch ISD schools. Entries focused on a creative response to "I Will Change the World By..." and students from PreK through 12th grade submitted entries in the following art categories: Dance, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Entries were reviewed at the school level, and 113 entries advanced to the District level. 

We are very happy to announce that 22 entries will be representing Spring Branch ISD at the State level. Please join us in celebrating the following students and all 378 students who participated and shared their vision for changing our world.

Join Your Student For Lunch

Beginning January 4th, parents are invited to have lunch with their children at VOE. 

Parents and their child will be able to eat on the picnic tables outside the cafeteria.  No parents will be able to eat in the cafeteria due to lack of space with most grade levels.  Students may not pick a friend to go with them to eat outside as the parent will be responsible for monitoring his/her own child.  If the weather is bad and it’s not possible to eat outside, parents can certainly check their child out of the front office and find a warm and dry place to eat!

A Bugz Christmas - 2nd Grade Winter Program

Our 2nd grade students have been rehearsing songs, dances, and speaking parts for A Bugz Christmas. 

Please join us on Tuesday, December 14^th for the performance after the PTA meeting in the VOE cafeteria. The meeting begins at 6:00 pm. 

Please have your students arrive that evening IN THEIR OUTFITS no earlier than 5:45.  Students will come to the art and music rooms.  Students should wear brown or black solid colored clothes.
