5th Grade End of Year Important Information

May 20: 5th Grade End of Year Party at Spring Valley Park

Kids will ride buses from VOE tothe park, where they will have a day of fun with DJ Sweft, inflatables, foam pit, lunch, and Kona Ice. Students should wear their 5th grade shirts, hats, swimsuits, and bring a towel. The party will be from 10:30-1:30, and parents are welcome to attend.

May 25 VOE Field Day (during the school day) & 5th Grade Car Parade (3-3:30)
We are excited to celebrate our graduating 5th graders with a car parade! 5th graders will be dismissed from school directly to the 5th grade events team on the hard top at 2:35pm, where they will be organized and loaded into trucks of predesignated volunteer parents. Each 5th grader will be assigned to ride in the bed of a designated pick up truck based on alphabetical order of homeroom class, and will be led by SBISD police. Find a spot along the car parade route to watch, wave, and cheer as the ten trucks filled with our graduates drive by! In order to participate, you MUST complete the RSVP form below. Please have your child wear or bring their 5th grade shirt to school that day! (Questions: Contact Amy Killian or Callie Griffin).

May 26: 5th Grade Graduation in the cafeteria at 8:30am, followed by VOE early dismissal.
Note: 5th graders may be checked out of school and be dismissed immediately following graduation.
